Hello my name is Seeju Dupree and I have been a patient of Dr. Shel for about three months. What brought me to Dr. Shel was that I was becoming very frustrated because I couldn't lose any weight and I was feeling pretty lousy. I have been on synthetic hormones for about 15 to 20 years and during that time as well I experience anxiety and I also had a kind of itchy allergy that I was always dealing with. I have had my thyroid checked almost every year or every other year. Doctors always told me that my thyroid was just fine. I still felt sluggish. I felt like a turtle just always dragging I was sleepy, I was a tired, I had no energy. Dr. Shel changed my hormones from synthetic hormones that I had been on for 15 to 20 years to the Bio-identical hormones which are natural hormones that work like my natural hormones in my body. She also discovered that I was having issues with my thyroid. Now remember earlier I said I had my thyroid checked many times over the years but what I've learned is that there is a certain range that the doctors put you in and if you fit in that range they don't necessarily question about your hormones. And so, she tested my hormones and found out that I really needed medication. Once I started the medication for the hormones and the thyroid in a matter of weeks I felt like a new woman. In fact I feel 20 years younger because I have energy now, I'm sleeping at night. Now I'm beginning to see how I'm going to lose weight on my own. like I said I'm sleeping better, I have a lot of energy, and I'm just...my head is in a good place. So I really recommend for those of you ladies who feel lost, you can't lose any weight, you're tired, you're exhausted, I really recommend that you come and see Dr. Shel.
